Miami Dutch Lions FC will not organize any games or training this summer for their Men's team due to the COVID 19 pandemic.
Director of Soccer Operations Hans van de Haar commented on the decision: "Despite the announcement of the NPSL last month we were still looking into options to field a team and come up with an alternative schedule to play games in June and July. Unfortunately we have to cancel that now. We worked very hard to put a quality roster together, including 16 players from The Netherlands and 9 players from the Miami area. I feel bad for them too because this was also an amazing opportunity for them. But we are already focusing on next year and expect to organize some events before the end of the year once the situation has improved."
