First training men’s team 2021 season

Group of 20 present at first session

After sitting out the inaugural season due to covid-19 in 2020 the Miami Dutch Lions FC men's team finally had their first training session in the books. On Tuesday the first group of 12 players arrived that are staying at players house in the Miami Design District. The group will grow towards 24-25 players in the coming weeks while preparing for the 2021 season.

Coaches Robert Stoutenburg and Lucas Martorana were pleased with the initial showings: "We could see some players are a little behind fitness wise, but there were also several players that showed their qualities. We will use the coming two weeks to see what players we have and what position(s) we can best play them."

The men's team plays their opening game in 2 weeks when they face Central Florida Panthers SC in Orlando. They play their first home game on May 29 at 7pm vs Storm FC.
