Lions back on track after winning 4-0 on the road vs Storm FC

Presten Manthey scores two, next week championship game vs Miami United FC

After a solid 4-0 win last night vs Storm FC, Miami Dutch Lions FC is preparing for a championship game next week vs Miami United FC. After the Lions beat Storm FC 10-0 earlier this season they traveled to Storm FC being careful. Despite not winning any games they had some close matches (1-0 vs Naples United FC, 2-0 vs Miami  United FC). But the team played well and picked up three points after losing the last 2 games.

Presten Manthey scored in the 20th and 34th minute of the game giving the Lions a comfortable lead going into halftime. In the second half Max Busch scored 3-0 in the 51st minute, and Juan Valiente scored the 4-0 in the 77th minute.

Head Coach Robert Stoutenburg commented on the game: "The boys came in knowing what to do to get us in that Championship game next week. They were focused and executed what we asked so I am very pleased. Now we look at next week and prepare for the biggest game of the season."
